GLENWOOD, SOUTH PARK & PACIFIC #1

Designed and built in the late 1950s by Jim "Homer" Holms and his brother for use on their private "Glenwood, South Park and Pacific" railroad in the hills above Santa Cruz. Originally a one-cylinder steam engine ran it, but in the 1960s when a two cylinder Stanley Motor Car ("Stanley Steamer") 20 hp engine was found in a scrap yard the brothers upgraded the 1 Spot with the bigger engine.
