On April 18th the cranes arrived to place the new riveted steel bridges into the cut and onto the footings and the hot riveting commenced to place the cross beams.  While the cranes were there we  utilized them to finally get the new giant donkey engine off the trailer and into place near the road crossing. It took both cranes to lift the weight of the  donkey! Thanks to all the Hillcrest Gang for showing up to help with this milestone event.
